i studied art history. twice. i currently work in development at an art museum, and i’ve started coursework for a second master’s degree in management.
my experience studying art history constantly contributes to the way i collect and digest information to develop my ever-changing world view. the subjects that i’ve studied and the things that have taken up space in my brain have become my passions. i am fascinated with visual/material culture. i like studying the material remains of cultures long since past, like the ancient minoans, myceneans, and greeks, but i also enjoy figuring out what contemporary objects and products of culture mean in the larger context of contemporary life.
my other interests include feminism, sexuality and gender studies, linguistics, technology, relationships, anthropology, pop culture, travel, and fashion.
